These demands reflect a growing awareness and a strong determination among young people to actively contribute to nation-building and the safeguarding of its achievements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"ltr\">In this context, the Center notes that the government\u2019s failure to involve young people in the formulation and management of public policies has been one of the direct factors pushing this generation to voice their demands in the streets. Similarly, the government\u2019s failure to implement the strategic vision of His Majesty the King of Morocco regarding the social protection program\u2014considered a cornerstone for building the social state\u2014resulted in a missed opportunity to meet the expectations of youth, particularly the \u201cGeneration Z 212\u201d movement, as well as those of the wider Moroccan population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"ltr\">Consequently, the Center:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"ltr\">\u2022 Condemns the use of violence by infiltrators within the peaceful \u201cGeneration Z 212\u201d movement.<br>\u2022 Denounces all acts of violence and vandalism targeting public and private property.<br>\u2022 Holds the government fully responsible for the negative developments that have occurred and are ongoing, which undermine the reputation of the Kingdom, due to its failure to address the demands of the youth through timely listening or opening channels of dialogue, and its silence which has damaged Morocco\u2019s image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"ltr\">The Center emphasizes that a constructive response to these demands by the relevant authorities would strengthen trust among the different components of society and open new horizons for reform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"ltr\">The Center calls on all parties to prioritize wisdom and foresight, and to place the supreme national interest above all else, in order to safeguard social peace and to respond to the aspirations of younger generations, who constitute a fundamental pillar of the country\u2019s progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"ltr\">Issued in Rabat,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" dir=\"ltr\"><strong>The President<br>Moroccan Center for Strategic Studies and Research<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Press ReleaseOn the Protests of Generation Z Youth As part of its monitoring of current societal developments, and in particular the demonstrations of \u201cGeneration Z 212\u201d youth, the Moroccan Center for Strategic Studies and Research affirms that this segment of the population represents the generation of the future, bearing legitimate aspirations and just demands for [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":11076,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[39],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-11100","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-39"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.5 -
