Two suicide attacks in Blida and Algeria: authorities remain silent
Marsool Press – RABAT
In Algeria, a double attack occurred on April 13 in the Blida region, about forty kilometers south of the capital, Algiers. Information indicates that two individuals blew themselves up inside the city.
So far, only very limited information is available, at a time when the country has been hosting since Monday Pope Leo XIV, in the first visit of a pontiff to the country.
The Algerian authorities have not yet issued any official statement regarding this attack. Despite the heavy presence of international media journalists, information remains extremely scarce.
What can currently be confirmed, according to Marsoul Press, is that the city of Blida was indeed targeted on Monday by a suicide belt attack. Details of the context remain limited, except for a video circulating on social media showing a man exploding near a police officer, who was strongly affected by the force of the blast but managed to get back up quickly.
