Sahrawi Tribal Leaders Reaffirm Their Commitment to the Autonomy Initiative Under Moroccan Sovereignty

The Moroccan Center for Strategic Studies and Research, under the leadership of Dr. Tarik Atlati, international expert in international relations and advisor on the Moroccan Sahara dossier—and himself a native of the Southern Provinces—organized an important gathering under the theme:
“From Strategic Vision to Field Implementation.”

This high-level meeting witnessed a strong turnout and remarkable intellectual engagement, reflecting the deep national commitment of Sahrawi tribal leaders to supporting the Autonomy Initiative in the Southern Provinces, considered the most serious, realistic, and forward-looking option in full harmony with the Wise Royal Vision and the successful Moroccan diplomacy.

Renewal of Allegiance and Loyalty to His Majesty the King

The attending tribal leaders expressed, with great pride and devotion, their renewal of allegiance and loyalty to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, and reaffirmed their unwavering attachment to the Alaouite Throne.

They also reiterated, with clarity and conviction, the Moroccan identity of the Sahara, and the legitimacy of the political and developmental project launched by the Kingdom in these cherished regions.

The event was marked by the broad participation of tribal leaders from across the Saharan regions, highlighting the unity and social cohesion of the local communities around the nation’s sacred constants.
